Before you can use a smartphone key or key tag, make sure that you have registered it into the system.
For more information, refer to Register new smartphone or replace old smartphone.
Note: Always keep your mechanical key with you as a backup. KONE Flow does not replace your mechanical key.
Add or remove smartphone keys
- Open KONE Flow.
- Tap Menu -> MY BUILDING -> Access setting.
- Tap Add New Smartphone Key and select a smartphone from the list to assign it as a new smartphone key.
Note: You can only select a registered smartphone as a smartphone key.
For more information if your smartphone is not visible on the list, refer to Register new smartphone or replace old smartphone.
Note: If you have consumed all keys available for you, you cannot add new smartphone keys. - Tap the trashcan icon to delete a smartphone key.
Add or remove key tags
- Open KONE Flow.
- Tap Menu -> MY BUILDING -> Access setting.
- Tap Activate One Key Tag to add a key tag.
- Fill in the name of the key tag and its serial number.
You can also scan the QR code printed on the key tag. Open the QR scanner by pressing the ruler-shaped button next to the serial number field. - Tap Activate.
Note: If you have consumed all keys available for you, you cannot add new key tags. - Tap the trashcan icon to remove a key tag from use.
You can assign removed key tags, for example, to any other users you have created.
