This topic is intended for residents, who are not the apartments' KONE Residential Flow main users.
Onboarding completes setting up KONE Residential Flow.
- Open KONE Flow.
The activation code page displays. - Enter the activation code.
An activation code was sent to you from your KONE Residential Flow main user via email. When checking for the email, remember to check your spam folder. If you cannot find the activation code, contact your main user. - Complete the setup wizard:
Note: The wizard steps depend on the features available for you.
a) Register the smartphone to use as the key to open doors.
b) Register your key tag by typing the key tag name and serial number.
You can also scan the QR code printed on the key tag.c) Choose the smartphone to connect to the intercom.
If you have the feature to receive intercom calls, define your contact name to be displayed on the intercom, or add your phone number to an existing contact.d) Choose your apartment floor and walking speed (slow, medium, or fast).
Your walking speed is used, for example, to calculate how long the system waits when making automatic elevator calls or door openings.e) Enter your phone number to receive a 6-digit device verification code.
The system sends you the device verification code.f) Enter the code to KONE Flow to verify your phone number and device.
g) Choose whether you want to receive building notifications.
Building notifications are messages from your administrator regarding your building or KONE Residential Flow.h) Tap LET'S GO.
You are ready to use KONE Residential Flow.
Note: As a resident, your main user manages your permissions. The main user is the person who provided the activation code, typically someone in your family or your landlord.
